
RICHLAND ELEMENTARY! Teacher/Staff Appreciation is next week! We hope we can get our students involved in celebrating our awesome staff! Here are some ideas to help make our staff feel extra special!

Favorite memory of high school: My favorite memory in high school is going to FFA Nationals my junior year.
Advice you would give to younger high school students: My advice to others is to work hard early so you can relax at the end.

Good luck to our track team in districts on Saturday, May 4 at New Haven High School. Admission will be $6.00 for everyone ages 6 and up. Fans can pay with cash at the admissions gate. Bleacher seating is very limited and it is encouraged for spectators to bring lawn chairs and blankets for extra seating. There will be a concession stand available.

Richland School District had a student who experienced a medical emergency this morning and an ambulance was called to the school.
A parent of the student has been notified and will determine what, if any, further medical treatment is necessary.

Plans after high school graduation: Attend OTC and major in business and accounting
Teacher/staff member with a large impact on your high school career: The teacher with a big impact on me throughout high school is Mrs. Overby because she was always there for me when I needed someone to talk to even if it wasn't about school.
Advice to younger students: My advice to younger students is to not listen to the drama. School is about the memories you make with your friends. So have fun and be yourself. It will go by in the blink of an eye.

Just a reminder, the Richland JH/HS Sports Banquet for grades 6-12 is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30. The banquet is sponsored by the Richland Athletic Booster Club. Dinner will begin at 5:00 in the cafeteria. Recognition of junior high athletes will begin at 6:00 in the gym followed by the high school athletes. We look forward to seeing you there!
