We are very excited to start welcoming students back soon! I will be posting some helpful "tidbits" from now until school starts that will hopefully give some good information about our school day!

Baseball practice will start Monday, August 11 at the baseball field in the Richland City Park. Practice will be from 6-8 PM with a parent meeting before practice starts at 6:00. Coach will work out the rest of the schedule for the rest of the week that night.

High School Fall Sports practice start Monday, August 11.

Softball practice schedule:
Monday 8/11, Tuesday 8/12, Thursday 8/14, Friday 8/15: 6-8 PM
Wednesday 8/13: 7-8:30 PM

We are working diligently to have a fall baseball season, when we have a solution we will let everyone know.

Junior High and High School schedules are now available on teacherease. If a schedule change is needed please email Dr. Turner this week at tturner@richlandbears.us or email the high school counselor at cneese@richlandbears.us to schedule an appointment next week.

"We hosted the first annual 3 v 3 tournament on Saturday July 26, 2025. We had 8 teams play in this tournament. There were concessions, 50/50, sponsor t-shirts, and lots of basketball! We would like to thank the teams that showed up to play, the sponsors that helped to make this event happen, James Tolbert, Luke Crawford, and Rich Allen for reffing the games, Roxanne Allen, Megan Starr, and Zach McNeill for working the clock and scores, and the girls from the teams that showed up to help. We would also like to thank Kylie McNeill who helped get everything together and made sure everything on the courts ran smoothly! We loved seeing the community come together to watch some basketball too! It was so much fun and we look forward to doing it again next summer! If you would like to order a t-shirt, please fill out the form below and I will get the shirt for you! Thank you again!"

Student-Athletes who plan to participate in fall sports need a current physical to begin practice. Physicals are good for two years, so if your student-athlete had one last year, they will be fine for this year. If you are unsure about physical dates, please contact John McNabb, jmcnabb@richlandbears.us

In person registration will begin August 1st. All registration Pk-12 students will register at our district registration office located at Richland High School.
