With school ending next week, we will be changing our food delivery service starting Monday. We will deliver food on Mondays (2 days of meals) and Wednesdays (3 days) until June 29, when the program is scheduled to conclude. That will include Memorial Day, May 25.

This is Teacher Appreciation Week! Please find a way to let your teachers know how much you appreciate their efforts to educate our students. They do a great job and play a vital role in our children’s lives. Thanks again, teachers!

Be careful out there driving today. I have heard reports of trucks overturned by strong winds near Lebanon and I-44 being closed off or at a crawl. More storms are predicted as well.

Jr./Sr. High: A gray tub is outside the front doors to return packet work anytime, day or night. All textbooks will need to be returned as well when finished with them. The last day for drop-off is May 14th. A reminder to check spam folders in email for teacher messages.

Today is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Thank you for all you do for our students - getting them to and from school and events during “normal” times and for the food delivery and schoolwork during the COVID-19 pandemic. We REALLY do appreciate you!

Remember, school is still in session so make sure you are completing your assignments and getting them returned. Your grades are positively impacted by returned work.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who works in the food delivery process. Unless you see the operation, it’s hard to appreciate how hard they work on it! Give them a wave when you see them out and know there are many more people working back at the school on this. Thanks!

We still are going to try to hold graduation, advancement ceremonies, and prom when, and if, that becomes possible. We don’t want to have to cancel them and reschedule yet again, so we are awaiting more guidance on stay at home orders, social distancing, etc. Once we have more information we will look at scheduling these events and share that with you.

Seniors, please send a baby/youth picture of yourself as well as a picture of your choice as your senior portrait to Ms. Proctor at rproctor@richlandbears.us. These will be used for the yearbook. Thank you.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, we will hold our monthly BOE meeting Monday night online through Zoom. I have attached the details in the picture.

With the abrupt end of the school year, we couldn’t get group photos of our student organizations. If you have pictures you would be willing to share, please email them to rproctor@richlandbears.us. It would be a great help! Bear Pride!
