Just wanted to let everyone know that we are still making plans for how school will look this fall. At this time, we are planning on being in classes on campus starting August 24. If that situation were to change we will let you know.

We have been working with the MRPC to develop a regional Hazard Mitigation plan in case of a natural emergency. They would like public input and have a survey set up at

Congratulations to Coach Ward and the Lady Bears on their 2019-2020 season! They are all smiles with their conference banner!

Seniors, due to some technical issues with our student information system I will not be able to release accurate final GPA's until the first of next week. I sincerely apologize, but I want to make sure our numbers are correct.

A reminder about the PEBT benefits for free and reduced lunch students - all elementary students qualify because we are a CEP school. Under location, select Pulaski County because that is where the school is located. Then select Pulaski County R-IV and which school your students attend. If your student goes to the elementary, select Yes to the question about being a special provision school. Details can be found on the website under News.

I have been made aware of a couple issues with the P-EBT application online. For our students who live in Camden or Laclede counties, our school is not coming up as an option for you. I have contacted the DESE Coordinator for FNS to get the problem corrected but have not heard back yet. Also, for financial purposes, our school is officially called Pulaski County R-IV, so you will need to make that your selection. I apologize for this issue and am working to correct the problem.

DESE has asked us to send out a reminder about the Pandemic Electronic Benefits for families of students who qualify for free or reduced lunches. Since we are a CEP elementary school, all students in that building qualify. Please see the website under News for more information.

Due to current circumstances, Richland High School has canceled Prom. However, a parent-sponsored Prom will be held in its place. Please look for details coming soon.

Any Richland Junior High or High School athlete who will be in grades 6-12 and plans on participating in athletics for the 2020-21 school year will need a physical. This does not include those athletes who turned one in for the 2019-20 school year as MSHSAA is allowing physicals on a 2-year basis (730 days), unless it expires throughout the school year (ex. A physical that was received 3/2/19 is valid through 3/1/21). While the MSHSAA PPE Form is now valid for a two year period from the date of the physical examination, all other pre-participation documents must still be completed annually for every student athlete. These forms are available in the high school office or you can download and print on the MSHSAA website (MSHSAA.org) under Sports Medicine. Please turn forms into the high school office or bring on the first day of fall practice.

ALL SENIORS: Please go to your school email and complete the Prom survey. Thank you
