
Wednesday we had the privilege of having US representative Vicky Hartzler visit our school and talk to our students about making good choices. She brought along Captain Kip Bartlett and Christine McDonald to share their experiences.


RHS FFA member Dakota Pemberton has made the top 6 in the state in Advanced Public Speaking. He will give his speech again this afternoon to determine final placing.

The Osage Boys Tennis Tournament for April 27th has been cancelled.

Congratulations to the RHS FFA area proficiency winners for advancing to state. Dakota Pemberton placed 2nd in State, and Paige Jennings won state in outdoor recreation.


The tennis match scheduled for today at Licking is cancelled. The make up date will be Tuesday, April 30th.

You are invited and encouraged to honor Tayte Holiman and other area high school seniors entering the service by attending the Community Salute to Service, which begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, in the Waynesville High School Gymnasium.

Spring Concert for K-2 and 3-4 was held April 24th at Richland Elementary.

The baseball game against Dixon is cancelled for tonight.

Jesse Cole from Sellers-Sexton Ford dropped by today to present our check from the Drive One For Your School fundraiser. Thank you to the Richland community for helping us raise $900 to use on classroom technology!


Tomorrow, April 24, is "Purple Up Day" to support military families. All Richland students and staff are encourage to wear purple.

The Waynesville Invitational Boys Tennis Tournament has been rescheduled for Friday, May 3rd.

The RHS baseball team will play at Belle on Saturday, May 4th. They will play against Calvary Lutheran @ 12:00 and against Belle @ 2:00.

The baseball game scheduled for April 25th against Dixon has been moved to Wednesday, April 24th.

The baseball game against Climax Springs is cancelled for tonight.
