Today at RES, 3rd-6th grade students celebrated reaching their AR Goals by having a kickball tournament! The final show down resulted in Mr. Pickney’s 6th grade class reigning victorious over Mrs. Peterson’s 4th grade class! It was a day for the history book, for sure!

Thank you, Maries County Bank, for showing our PK students the banking world yesterday!

Senior Spotlight Time!!!
Kailey is the daughter of: Steve and Melissa Douglas
Her most memorable moment at Richland High School was raising money for Mr. Smith at Paint it Pink 2020.
Her advice to incoming freshman is to put your mental health first. Pressure from school is a lot, and your well-being is more important than a letter grade.
Kailey's favorite quote: “All you can do is be brave enough to get out there. You fought. You loved. You lost. Walk tall.” -Derek Shepherd ; Grey’s Anatomy
The staff member with the biggest impact on Kailey is Mr. Hall, he’s the brightest ray of light and never fails to make anyone laugh. He didn’t just worry about teaching us history, but also morals, life lessons, and in general how to be a good person.
Kailey's plans after high school include getting her registered nursing license, then her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and become a labor and delivery nurse.

Congratulations to the JV baseball team on their home opener win against Steelville tonight. The Varsity team lost a tough game. They will play again on Friday at Bourbon.
