The JH girls and boys basketball teams will play at Climax Springs on Monday, October 10th, at 5:00.

Reminder: Today, October 7th is an early release. Elementary students will release at 12:20. Jr/Hs students will release at 12:30. Also, school is NOT in session Monday October 10th. Have a great weekend.

Congratulations to the softball team on their win against Newburg last night. The varsity won 16-5 and the junior varsity won 7-3. Our seniors Lily Gibson and Clayton Gregory (manager) were recognized between games.




Dear Richland School District Families,
We want to make you aware of a situation that took place this morning. A bullet was found on one of our buses while it was in route to school. When the school bus arrived at campus, the administrators determined that there was no weapon, and that there was no threat. All students are safe.

Elementary is now doing our annual K-8 fundraiser! Students will get prizes based on the number of cards they sell. There are some excellent discounts available!!


The Harvest Moon ceremony will be next Friday during the junior high basketball game. Starting Tuesday we will have spirit week for the event.


October 6 will be the first night for this opportunity. Teachers will be available for tutoring and we will do enrichment with robotics.


Come out and support your Lady Bears softball team tomorrow against Newburg at 5:00. The softball seniors will be recognized between games. Good luck Lady Bears!


Thank you for your understanding with buses this morning. Afternoon routes will run on a normal schedule.

I apologize for this late notice. We are short bus drivers for tomorrow morning’s route. All bus routes will run normal EXCEPT the HORSE bus. The horse bus will not make its first pick up until 7:55. Please be out and visible at your stop. Thank you for your understanding!

7th grade math elective class is working on business plans and making product prototypes. 8th grade math elective students are working on building restaurant models.





Title will hold their annual informational parent meeting on Thursday, October 6th at 3:15 in the elementary cafeteria.

The Richland Athletic Booster Club will be selling BBQ pork plates for Monday’s Pink Out softball game. The plate will consist of a pork steak sandwich, baked beans, and potato salad for $12.00. All money raised from the pork plate will be donated to the cause, the booster club will not profit from the pork plate. Come out and enjoy dinner while cheering on the Lady Bears softball team and supporting a great cause!

The JH Bears and Lady Bears will play at home on Monday, October 3rd against Newburg starting at 5:00.

The Maries County Bank Richland is sponsoring RHS Softball “Wall of Money” in their Strike Out Cancer October event that is kicking off on Monday, October 3rd. The Richland Lady Bears and the Osage Lady Indians will take the field at 5:00!
The Maries County Bank and RHS Softball Team are teaming up to raise funds to help Charla Baker and her fight against cancer. Charla is a Richland Alumni and a proud supporter of the Richland Community. Charla is a warrior and we are honored to be able to help support her in her continued fight. A “Wall of Money” donation board will be set up at the softball game for anyone who wants to donate. A board will be set up in the lobby at MCB and one in the RHS office throughout the month of October for anyone who wants to make a donation.
