Mark your calendars! We will be having our young author's night and our last science fair, for the year, on March 9th. All books written in Mrs. Douglas's elective will be on display. Science fair projects from 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. We will have OVER 50 pieces of student work on display!! Come out and show them that we support them in their academic success.
Order forms were sent out today at the high school for Dude, Be Nice shirts and are due back by March 10. Dude, Be Nice is a week-long event that focuses on community, friendship, and positivity. The week is set for March 27-31. We will host a kickoff night after school on March 24 until 8:30 pm to get activities prepared for the following week of events. More information will come out on how to sign up for the kickoff night after Spring Break. Please see the attached flyers for more information.

Due to an unforeseen issue with Scholastic's Book Fair scheduling, the book fair will now run from March 6th-10th. Book Fair Family Night will still be March 7th 3:30-7:00 at the Elementary School.

Just a reminder that spring sports will begin practice on Monday, February 27th. If you are planning to play a spring sport, which will include baseball, girls soccer, HS track, and JH track (grades 6-8), you will need a current physical on file and annual forms completed to participate on the first day. Practice times are as follows for February 27th:
Baseball: 3:30-5:30
Soccer: 3:30-5:30
JH/HS Track: 3:30-4:30

The Scholar Bowl team competed at the Crocker Invitational Meet on February 18th. Congratulations to the following students who placed in the top 10: Alexander Glackin - 6th, Darcee Jensen - 7th, and Jude Kramer - 9th.

Today February 17th, is an early release day. Elementary students will release at 12:20 and high school students will release at 12:30. School will also not be in session on Monday February 20th in observance of President's Day. Have a great weekend.
Our basketball seniors Lily Gibson and Breah Morris were recognized tonight as well as our RHS Bears Network broadcaster, Clayton Gregory. The JV lost 20-12 and the Varsity lost 47-37. The Lady Bears next game will be the first round of districts on Tuesday.
