RHS Decision Day part 2/3

This school year, we have partnered with the rootEd Alliance to help our upperclassmen prepare for their next steps after high school. Today, our students participated in RHS Senior Decision Day, where they publicly signed their letters of intent to declare their next path post graduation. We have students headed to eight different schools, the military, and the workforce after graduation. Each of these decisions were celebrated today.

Senior Spotlight!!!!
Name: Olivia Daugherty-Cowsert
Plans after high school- Go to Mizzou for Psychology
Favorite memory of school- Seeing how all of the community comes together for Paint it Pink.
Favorite quote- “Life is short, the world is wide, and I want to make some memories”
Advise to underclassmen- your grades do not determine your worth or how smart you are. Put your mental health first and know that life is so much bigger outside of high school.
Teacher with impact on your career- Mr. Neal, he taught me that there is always one or more ways to figure out a problem, math related or not. He made me excited to come to school and made his students feel loved beyond measure. I can only hope to have that kind of impact on someone as he did on me.
