Senior Spotlight!
Victoria Sperberg
Plans after high school: Attend OTC to major in elementary education.
Teacher or staff member with a large impact on your high school career: Mrs. Gormley. Since I first met her, she welcomed me with open arms. She is always there to listen to me or any of her other students when needed. She gives excellent advice. She always makes sure that you have a smile on your face and you're not hungry before you leave her room. She is the most caring, compassionate, loving and kind teacher that I have ever met.
Favorite quote: “For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. Jeremiah 29:11
Advice for younger students: Even when you think the entire world is falling apart, it is not. You will be okay. God has a plan for each and everyone of us. Everyone has bad days, but a good day is just around the corner!

Congratulations to the baseball team on their win against Climax Springs tonight!

Plans after high school graduation:
After high school, I will be playing baseball for the Missouri State-West Plains Grizzlies. I will begin work on a business degree.
Teacher or staff member with a big impact on your high school career:
Coach Whittle spent hours of his free time helping me become a better baseball player. In the process, he also made me a better person.
Mr. Rujawitz put up with me for three hours every day and made it fun.
Coach White cared about me, win or lose, on and off the court, even when it was hard.
Favorite memory of high school: My favorite moment of high school was when I signed to college baseball.
Advice you would give to the younger high school students: The decisions you make in high school matter. The hard work you put in matters. Make good decisions during your freshman and sophomore years, so you don't have regrets your senior year.

The baseball game at Dixon has been cancelled tonight due to the weather.

Teacher/staff with a large impact on your high school career: Dr. Turner and Mrs. Carr because of when they helped me through my rough times and helped me get back on my feet.
Favorite Quote: High school is what kind of grows you into the person you are.
Advice to younger students: Don’t rush High School, take advantage of it.

Plans after high school graduation: Attend Missouri Southern State University to major in forensics
Teacher or staff member with a big impact your high school career:
My Grandfather, Mr. Rick Brashear (Papa Rick) is a bus driver for the Richland R-IV school district. He is the silliest, kindest man that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Despite his famous, fallacious shortcuts and prolonged trips, he has driven me to become the person I am today.
-Favorite memory of high school
My favorite memories of high school come from my sophomore year: any time coming to or from a scholar bowl meet Hana Muse would start games of “headbands”. We would all give obscure clues that made the game hilarious but nearly impossible to play.

Richland Board Members Warren Powell and Elizabeth Duncan were sworn in at last night's board meeting.

Sending heartfelt congratulations to our amazing retirees at Richland R-4. Their dedication, hard work, and wisdom has been invaluable to us. Wishing you all the best in this next chapter. #retirement # gratitude
Retirees: James Schwartz and Lisa York
