Plans after high school: Attend OTC for two years then transfer to Missouri State to major in elementary education.
Teacher or staff member with a large impact on your high school career: Mrs. Henson. She has always been a shoulder to lean on for all her students. Mrs. Henson has been there for me through all the lows and supported me through the highs.
Advice you would give to younger students: The advice I would give to younger students to push through all the times you don’t think it’ll work out. Everything happens for a reason.

Senior Spotlight!
Victoria Sperberg
Plans after high school: Attend OTC to major in elementary education.
Teacher or staff member with a large impact on your high school career: Mrs. Gormley. Since I first met her, she welcomed me with open arms. She is always there to listen to me or any of her other students when needed. She gives excellent advice. She always makes sure that you have a smile on your face and you're not hungry before you leave her room. She is the most caring, compassionate, loving and kind teacher that I have ever met.
Favorite quote: “For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. Jeremiah 29:11
Advice for younger students: Even when you think the entire world is falling apart, it is not. You will be okay. God has a plan for each and everyone of us. Everyone has bad days, but a good day is just around the corner!

Congratulations to the baseball team on their win against Climax Springs tonight!

Senior Spotlight: Kade Belshe
Plans after high school graduation:
After high school, I will be playing baseball for the Missouri State-West Plains Grizzlies. I will begin work on a business degree.
Teacher or staff member with a big impact on your high school career:
Coach Whittle spent hours of his free time helping me become a better baseball player. In the process, he also made me a better person.
Mr. Rujawitz put up with me for three hours every day and made it fun.
Coach White cared about me, win or lose, on and off the court, even when it was hard.
Favorite memory of high school: My favorite moment of high school was when I signed to college baseball.
Advice you would give to the younger high school students: The decisions you make in high school matter. The hard work you put in matters. Make good decisions during your freshman and sophomore years, so you don't have regrets your senior year.

The baseball game at Dixon has been cancelled tonight due to the weather.
