This afternoon we received confirmation that up to 4 more of our high school students have tested or are considered positive for COVID-19. We have completed the process of contact tracing and have been able to reach the affected students. The Health department is also working on contact tracing with us. If you do not hear from the school or the Health Department, your child was not directly exposed to the positive cases. We continue to follow the procedures set up by local health authorities.
We continue to follow social distancing and disinfecting measures as much as possible. Deep cleaning will occur this evening in the building. We will be prepared to welcome your students back to class tomorrow.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work together to face the challenges presented by COVID-19.

Due to the timing of the notice we have not been able to contact every class but should have that finalized before the start of school tomorrow. Lady Bears softball will play against Macks Creek on Tuesday, September 28th @ 5:00. The games will be played at Ballparks National, 480 Kissick Way. Please read the following guidelines set forth by the Macks Creek District for outdoor fall sports.
1. Coaches and players in the dugout will be asked to wear masks while they are not in the field of play or able to social distance. When a player is in the field of play (i.e. playing defense, hitting, etc.) they are able to remove masks (strenuous activity).
2. Spectators are not required to wear masks at this time but are encouraged to social distance.
There are no bleachers at the complex. Spectators/fans will need to bring their own seating. Behind home plate is a terraced section where chairs can be placed to sit. There will also be plenty of space around the diamond for fans to set/stand.
