All WCC students will be quarantined until Tuesday, February 16. WCC computers and textbooks will be delivered to Richland on Thursday, February 4th. We will contact students once they arrive. All students will need to check in with their teachers at WCC via the Google Meet for each class at 8:45 am each day, where they will receive their instructions. If you have any questions, please contact high school counselor Brittany Smith.

The Lady Bears games against Eldon and Wheatland have been cancelled. The Dixon game has been rescheduled from February 11th to the 17th. This will be a Varsity contest only starting at 6:00.

We will have a grab and go lunch option for any of our students out on quarantine for next week. We will package meals for the entire week and hand them out behind the high school kitchen on Monday, February 8. There are two times available for pick up to help with work schedules. 11:00 - 12:30 and 5:00 - 6:00. Please pull up and let us know how many students you need meals for and we will place the meals for you to pick up so that there will be a touch less exchange.

We have tried to keep as many students on campus as possible, but the positive cases and quarantine numbers amongst high school students continue to climb. Because of this, we will have high school students only go to virtual learning starting tomorrow, February 4, through Friday, February 12. Monday, February 15 is a day off, so in person classes for high school will resume on Tuesday, February 16. We feel that our students are better off at school, so we plan to keep the elementary and junior high school students here at this time since their numbers are so much better. Students who need a device to work on at home are being issued one. We have established a meal option for students who will be out and further information will be sent out regarding that.
Please try to be as safe as possible at home, especially if you are quarantined or a positive case. We are making this change to try to get through this tough period and hope it will help stem the tide. Masks, social distancing, frequent thorough hand washing, and staying at home if quarantined, are all positive steps we can take to help in this situation. Also, please do not send any student to school if they have any of the COVID symptoms.
Hopefully, this will get us out of the worst of things and thank you again for your patience and understanding throughout this pandemic.
