Write your teacher a note to explain how he or she has impacted your life this year!
Wednesday - Supply them with Thanks!
Pick up any supplies your teacher is running low on for your class!
(class snacks, room supplies, tissues, germ-x, etc.)
Thursday - My Teacher's a Treat!
Treat your teacher with his or her favorite snack, beverage or candy!
Friday - Thanks are in the Cards!
Bring your teacher a homemade card and/or a gift card!


Katelyn Cole has signed to play basketball with Baker University. Katelyn helped lead her team to the quarterfinals this year. Katelyn was named All Conference MVP, All District MVP, All State, and KJEL Player of the Year this season.
Katelyn is pictured with her parents, Jesse and Elaine Cole and her sister Kylie, Head Coach Justin Rees (Baker University), RHS Head Coach Nancy Ward, and the RHS Lady Bears basketball team.





The baseball team won tonight against Tuscumbia 12-5. Baseball seniors, Kaden Kardosz and Justin Shelton were recognized tonight. Congratulations!



Summer School Enrollment is still open for students in grades K-8.
Students in 1st-3rd will building bots and working with legos while student in 4-5 will be flying drones and playing sports. Students in 6-8 grade will be learning golf and cooking.
Daily attendance prizes will be given along with a drawing for 2 ipad minis. Students will also have the opportunity to earn a visa card for attendance.

Richland Junior High and High School would like to invite our parents and the Richland community to two upcoming events. First, Fine Arts Night will be held on Thursday, May 6th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the gym. Please join us for an evening of student art work and musical performances. Second, National Honor Society Induction will be held on Monday, May 10th at 5:30pm in the gym. Come out and help recognize the school's academic leaders.

Richland R-IV would like to welcome Ira Moss and Tim Sherrer as our newly elected Board of Education members! Thank you for your willingness to serve the district and our staff, students, and patrons!


The baseball game at Iberia is cancelled today!


At tonight’s meeting, the Board voted to make masks optional at this time. All other COVID protocols will remain in place.

Don't forget, this Friday, April 23rd, Richland High School will host the first ever Spring Extravaganza! Events begin with a Paint It Pink pulled-pork dinner fundraiser from 5:00pm-6:00pm in the cafeteria. Dinner is $10/person. After dinner, the Richland Youth Athletic teams will be recognized for their participation in their local sports clubs followed by a Men’s and Women’s Alumni Basketball game. During the game, a dessert auction will be held to help satisfy your sweet tooth. After the game, we will reveal who was selected to the 2020-2021 RHS Homecoming Court. We will end the evening by presenting our Paint It Pink fundraising proceeds to Mrs. Susan Lindsey. A lot will be happening this night and there will be something for everyone.
