The Richland Lady Bears are hosting the sectional round this Wednesday, March 3rd at 6:00 pm. The Lady Bears will play the Dora Lady Falcons. We need to pack the stands with a sea of orange!
Please read the following information on purchasing tickets for this game. We have 325 protected tickets during the presale period. A reminder, the presale period will expire at 9:59AM on the day of the game, after that time the presale code will no longer be valid.

- Presale code allows you to purchase a ticket during a protected timeframe, it is not a guarantee of a ticket
- Navigate to www.mshsaa.org
- Click on the Ticket icon at the top of the home page
- Select the Sport you wish to view
- Select the applicable Class, this will bring up all events in one class and will be organized by district number
- Choose the matchup from the list of events
- You will see ticket sales do not begin until date/game, this is when presales expire
- Click the link Have a passcode?
- Enter the provided presale code and click Apply
- Enter the number of tickets and click Checkout (there is a transaction fee for online ordering)
- Name, email, and phone are required in case contact tracing is necessary
- Enter card information to purchase the ticket
- Ticket will be sent to you electronically for presentation at the gate for admission, which may be printed or remain on the device for scanning

Last school year, Cameron's "Trees Work for our Backyard Friends" won the Popular Choice Award in the poster design contest for 5th grade students. The contest is sponsored by Missouri Community Forestry Council. Her artwork and her prizes just arrived. Cameron received a $50 Amazon gift card and several forestry promotional items. All students that participated last year received pencils and stickers for their participation.

The Lady Bears with a win against Plato tonight in the semifinal round to advance to the district championship game. The Lady Bears will play against the Newburg Lady Wolves on Thursday at 6:00 at Laquey High School!
Now that it looks like we are through the worst of the weather issues, I wanted to update everyone. Since we submitted a calendar with the necessary hours built in, we will not have to make up the snow days. However, we did take two COVID break days after Thanksgiving that will have to be made up. With travel plans already made for some of you, I didn’t want to take away spring break days. We will need to add two days to the end of the school year on May 24 & 25. Hopefully this is a situation we will not have to deal with in the future. Once again I thank you for your patience and understanding during the pandemic.
Wednesday February 24th is the 100th day of school!
Students are welcome to dress as a career 100 years in the future or 100 years old.

Spring sports will begin practice on Monday, March 1st. This will include baseball, jh/hs track, and tennis (boys & girls). All athletes are required to have a physical on file before they can practice. Annual requirement forms are also due.
