Richland R-IV would like to welcome Ira Moss and Tim Sherrer as our newly elected Board of Education members! Thank you for your willingness to serve the district and our staff, students, and patrons!

The baseball game at Iberia is cancelled today!

At tonight’s meeting, the Board voted to make masks optional at this time. All other COVID protocols will remain in place.

Don't forget, this Friday, April 23rd, Richland High School will host the first ever Spring Extravaganza! Events begin with a Paint It Pink pulled-pork dinner fundraiser from 5:00pm-6:00pm in the cafeteria. Dinner is $10/person. After dinner, the Richland Youth Athletic teams will be recognized for their participation in their local sports clubs followed by a Men’s and Women’s Alumni Basketball game. During the game, a dessert auction will be held to help satisfy your sweet tooth. After the game, we will reveal who was selected to the 2020-2021 RHS Homecoming Court. We will end the evening by presenting our Paint It Pink fundraising proceeds to Mrs. Susan Lindsey. A lot will be happening this night and there will be something for everyone.

The Junior High track meet at Lebanon is cancelled for today!

Congratulations to the baseball team on their win over Newburg tonight!

A great big thank you to COMC for doing such a great job with the vaccination event tonight. They expect to have seen around 600 people by the time they are done!

A reminder that tomorrow, Friday April 16, is an early student release day due to teacher professional development. Have a great weekend, Go Bears!

I would like to send a special thank you to Mrs. Shirley Zeigenbein, Mrs. Julie Zeigenbein, Mrs. Amy Payne, Mrs. Amanda Pemberton, Mrs. Phyllis Henson, and Mrs. Becky Starner for the help they provided in preparing and serving our senior citizen and veterans lunch. Your help was greatly appreciated!

I would like to thank all our senior citizens and veterans for coming out to the high school lunch today. It was great to be able to hold this traditional event. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day to honor our Richland community.

Richland HS/JHS parents: Tomorrow, the school is hosting two big events. In order to plan for both, we are re-routing our parking lot to accommodate our senior citizen’s and veterans as well as address our vaccination crowd. If you need to come to the school during the day, we ask that you enter by the tennis courts, park in the gravel parking, then come in to the school to take care of your business. Thank you.

Fort Leonard Wood is host a hiring fair on April 17th at St. Robert City Hall from 11:00am-3:00pm. This is a great opportunity for student 16 years and older to gain experience over the summer or those interested in a part-time job. See the attached flyer for more information.
