Hello Richland Families,
I’m so excited to begin another school year as the principal of Richland Elementary! I can’t wait to welcome our students back and meet our new families—it’s going to be a fantastic year.
Before joining the Richland community, I served as an elementary teacher, elementary art teacher, and assistant principal at Freedom Elementary in the Waynesville School District, as well as assistant principal at Cuba Elementary. I’m blessed with a wonderful husband who owns a meal prep business in Waynesville, a high school-aged daughter who keeps us busy with cheer, track, and competitive dance, and we’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of our newest baby girl at the end of September!
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, cheering on my daughter at competitions, and spending time with family and friends.
At Richland Elementary, our purpose is simple but powerful: to ensure every child feels welcomed, valued, and connected. We are dedicated to building a strong school family where all students grow academically and socially. Our staff is committed to creating a culture of inclusion and providing high levels of learning for every student.
