While the end of summer and beginning of fall is a hectic time during any school year, the upcoming session at Richland Schools will be one of the most unique yet. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced all of us to adjust how things will look at school during 2020-2021. The faculty, staff, and administration have been working hard to prepare to educate your students during the realities of the time we find ourselves living in now.

I enjoyed my first year at Richland, even with the abrupt and disappointing ending that it saw. Hopefully, things will go smoothly this school year, but there are circumstances beyond our control that force us to be ready to deal with any eventuality that we may face. I thank you for your continued understanding and patience as we navigate education during the pandemic. This, too, shall pass and at some point things will return to a more “normal” setting. We will get through it together.

I want to welcome anyone who has questions about our district to contact me. I look forward to working with everyone again to educate the youth of our school community. Here’s to a great 2020-2021!

Brian Lee,

Richland R-IV
